Company History

COGENTWARE was founded with the intention of building 'on demand' software applications for medium and large enterprise customers.  Many of the initial customers were Fortune 500 companies that needed innovative web-based applications to assist company field reps and reseller partners in generating sales and accessing real time sales and inventory information.  Those clients included Hewlett Packard, Synnex, Ingram Micro, Fidelity National, First American and Aegon.

The first product offering was a real time analytics engine used for generating KPI dashboards and reports.  After realizing that many of these companies did not store the raw data they wished to analyze, COGENTWARE decided it could better serve the enterprise market by building specific applications.  The goal then was to find the gaps created by large ERP and CRM systems and fill with powerful and agile web based systems.

Our applications are built to:

  1. increase sales

  2. decrease expenses                                                      

Many customers were starting to request systems that could address the service and maintenance systems voids created by these traditional financial and pre-sales systems. 

COGENTWARE quickly decided to build and manage on demand applications to assist service departments with managing warranty programs and maintenance departments with building an advanced system for administering sophisticated maintenance programs.

COGENTWARE's stated goal is to offer solutions that provide the customer with an ROI < 6 months.
